HI, I'm Jeelyan & this blog is for my ENN195 class that i am taking in Lagcc, the theme of the class is Violence in America Art and Culture. For today blog we where interested to write a free blog, For my free write i have chose to write about the ideal or prototype of a beautiful women is supposed to be white with blue eyes. This is demonstrated in both the Caesars Column, May Day and The Destruction of New York, the female protagonist from each of the books are blonde, blue eyed females but they all can also be the same person. Although one may be portrayed more superficial then the others, they can be mistaken for the same women. Blue eyes & blonde hair, but their character is what makes there similarities, they where all sensitive, caring, friendly, loving, never rude or prudent. Which made me think if that is how women where expected to act in that time, which personally i feel that they where. This is a shame because if they are all to act a certain way then where is the room for them to be themselves.
